P.S. Consider this a little intro to Gainsbourg. He's got a massive discography, but it's all pretty hip. I don't speak French beyond the basics, so I can't say much about the lyrics, but apparently they're pretty dirty (I've been told that most of Vu de L'Exterieur is about poop). Also, Histoire de Melody Nelson is absolutely as good as you've heard it is.
